If you were hoping to see the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day morning, you’ll have to wait another day.
The annual parade usually begins in the morning on January 1st, but it will not take place this year for the 20th time in its 134-year existence.
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, the event’s organisers, have made it a habit not to host the procession on Sundays. The Rose Bowl Game, which follows the procession, will likewise be held on January 2 this year.

When is the Rose Parade in 2023?
The Rose Parade will commence at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, January 2, 2023, in Pasadena, California. The parade’s floats and participants will go 5.5 miles down Colorado Boulevard.
