Sonic the Hedgehog official Twitter has just dropped the 2023 content road map for Sonic frontiers. This means that you will be getting even more content in the form of three updates throughout the year for frontiers. Looking at the force update the Jukebox photo mode and new challenges. The Jukebox will most likely allow you to listen to the game’s soundtrack. While you are speeding around the Starfall Islands.
The photo mode is exactly what it says that users can have Sonic selfies as shown in the promo picture. It is the feature many fans have wanted after exploring the beautiful landscapes in the game. It was going to be a tremendous game. The final part of the force update also has a new challenge mode. There is a way to replay the supersonic fights since the Supersonic has shown in the promo picture.
The second update is that one will have an event called Sonic’s birthday. It will be an in-game event celebrating Sonic’s birthday. Including some new cosmetics with the soap shoes and The Monster Hunter DLC.
It also contains some more open zone challenges. It will add even more time trial challenges into the open zone to complete. New open zone content will also be getting new cocos to collect in these open zones. But there might be chances to get some party hats to celebrate sonic’s birthday.
The third and last update for the road map is a new playable character in a brand new storyline to go with them. The promo image shows Tails Knuckles and Amy implying that they will all become playable. But that is yet to be confirmed. The Sage character will likely return in the new storyline that fans are getting in this update.
There’s no release date for the 2023 content roadmap. So there might be chances that update 1 will be released in early 2023. Update 2 will come around June since that’s when Sonic’s birthday. Update 3 will be right around the end of the year just in time for the 2023 holiday season.
