Aman Gupta posted a brief Shark Tank India season 2 video in which he informed the creator of content platform STAGE that the country needs individuals like them.
Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt Lifestyle and a popular judge on the TV show Shark Tank India, recently recounted some of his own entrepreneurial story, recalling how he had to go through six unsuccessful ventures before ultimately finding success with his electronics firm. Mr Gupta sent a tweet telling his fellow entrepreneurs not to let setbacks hold them back and to keep striving.
“We all have ups and downs in life. I’ve been down more times than one can count. But once you’ve reached rock bottom, there’s only one way out: up. “Keep hustling, the day you stop trying is the day you fail,” Mr Gupta tweeted, adding, “Inspired by the spirit of such businesses and also individuals with such a spirit.”
Aman Gupta also posted a brief Shark Tank India season 2 video in which he informed the creator of content platform STAGE that the country requires individuals like them.
“People like you are needed in India. I’ll explain why. Many entrepreneurs in India fail, but to emerge from that and build a firm worth 300 crores is incredible. What are your thoughts? Is this correct? “He said.
Listening to this, the founders of the startup company nodded. Mr Gupta then revealed, “Six of my businesses tanked and that is when boAt was made”.
He went on to remind STAGE’s founders, “You’ve built a 300 crore firm. I feel you are the entrepreneur’s ray of hope. They would look at you and say, ‘Boss, gir ke banda 300 crore ki company bana sakta hai na to isse jyaada kuch nahi chahiye (Boss, gir ke banda 300 crore ki company bana sakta hai na to isse jyaada kuch nahi chahiye). I’m not simply donating money. It’s all about India.”
Vinay Kumar Singhal, Parveen Singhal, and Shashank Vaishnav presented STAGE, an innovative OTT platform that broadcasts material in Indian languages. The trio received funding from not one, but three Shark Tank India judges: Piyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Aman Gupta.
