Neeraj Chopra Gets Hitched: Pics from His Super-Private Wedding Are Everywhere
Guys, Neeraj Chopra, the big shot javelin guy from India who’s a total Olympic champ with not one, but two medals under his belt, has officially become a hubby! He posted some super cute pics on Insta on Sunday, giving everyone the lowdown on his new relationship status. He captioned the snaps with a real heart-warmer: “Starting this whole married life gig with my fam. So grateful for every little thing that got us here. We’re all about love and living our fairytale now.”
His new wife, Himani, is actually studying in the US right now, according to what Neeraj’s uncle spilled. The wedding was a real close-knit shindig with just a few friends and family members in the loop. One of the most awww-inducing moments from the big day? Neeraj getting showered with blessings from his mom during one of those traditional ceremonies.
Don’t worry, there’s more to come! The family’s letting us know that there’s going to be a reception to follow, so stay tuned for those party pics.
On the work side of things:- Neeraj Chopra
On the work side of things, Neeraj isn’t just throwing javelins for fun anymore. He’s actually putting together a big-deal javelin competition right in India! It’s all thanks to World Athletics and the AFI giving their thumbs up, and it’s supposed to go down in May. This event is going to be epic with the crème de la crème of javelin throwers showing up, including our man Neeraj, obviously.
Neeraj is super pumped about it all. He said, “It’s always been a total dream of mine to throw a big-time javelin comp in India. Thanks to JSW Sports and AFI, it’s happening for real. I can’t wait to see how amazing this event turns out and what it does for our athletes and fans. It’s going to be lit!”
The plan for the future? Make this comp a regular thing on the international sports scene. Maybe throw in some extra track and field goodies too.
And Parth Jindal, the big cheese at JSW Sports, is all about giving AFI a pat on the back. “Couldn’t have done it without them. Their support means everything to us, and it’s clear they’re all in for making track and field a big deal in India.”
So, yeah, Neeraj’s life is pretty much winning at the moment. Marriage, career, the works. What a legend, right?
