José, eager to train Ten Hag’s team: Yet again
As per reports, the former Portuguese football player, José Mourinho is willing to return to his old team.
Soon after being sacked by AS Roma, the 61-year-old has now made an ambition to come back to the Red Devils. Being sent off again after six long years, the future of this decorated manager looks quite mysterious and difficult. This might be a reason for his want to enter into Manchester United out of the blue.
According to Mike Keegan, a sports news correspondent of Daily Mail, José expressed that he feels he has some “unfinished business”. Mike revealed this on a podcast named, It’s All Kicking Off. There he claimed that the Portuguese coach wants to “do what he couldn’t do…last time.” The news correspondent stated that he has “made” a “mission” to take charge of Hag’s team. The team is currently managed by the Dutch former player and manager, Erik Ten Hag who is under contract until 2025.
Mourinho’s Dream: Likely to be Shattered
After six long years, Mourinho has again shown his interest in returning to ‘his’ United Club. The dream of José to replace Erik, and take charge of Man Utd is likely to be shattered. The chances are very slim of him becoming a coach for them, the second time. The 61-year-old is now past his coaching heyday. Besides, the club is not looking for any new manager at this juncture as Hag is under contract till 2025. Therefore, The CEO of INEOS, Sir James Arthur giving him the position now remains skeptical.
José: A Fabulous Coach
Mourinho should be considered a perfect coach as well as manager for Man United FC.
He has made significant contributions to the team when he managed Red Devils. He has been the only coach to grab multiple trophies in his debut season. Also, he has been the only coach to earn 80, and additional Premier League points since Sir Alex Ferguson (SAF). He never failed to bring up and highlight the problems his team members faced. He has the longest run of undefeated games in a Premier League Season and Old Trafford.
Furthermore, José always ensured that his team always can fight back strong to grab the winning titles and trophies.
However, after working for almost two and a half years, the club sacked him in December, in the year 2018. He was sent off because Manchester United FC lost to Liverpool FC in the Premier League. Therefore, if the former manager returns to his team, it would be considered an unbelievable and ‘sensational’ return.
