Her height : 5’3″ (1.6m) and weight :108kg, She followed a rich dietary food which contains — 5.6 litres of milk which contains protein,1.8 litres of fruit juice contains vitamins, 2.8 litres of soup consumption, nearly 1kg of mutton and almonds, a fowl, two big loaves of bread, 500g butter, 6 eggs, and two plates of biryani — every day to fuel her nine-hour sleep and six-hour training schedule, according to the BBC report.
Banu has represented India in Olympics, becoming the first Indian woman to step into wrestling at the international level. Despite facing hard competition, She outstood all the wrestlers and won the hearts of many people through her hard work and achievements and made the people proud through her outbreaking records.
Banu has always remained as a source of inspiration for many women wrestlers in India and also gave faith of conviction to many young athletes to succeed in sports despite all oppositions and struggles . She has been an iconic women athlete and always has been and today is the day we pay respect to all her efforts and excellence and will always remain as an iconic inspirational women wrestler.
