Rashid Khan took a hat-trick in the match against Kolkata. This is Rashid Khan’s first hat-trick in IPL. However, Rashid has earlier taken hat-tricks in Caribbean League, International T20 and Big Bash.
While this is the 22nd hat-trick in IPL history. This is the third hat-trick at Ahmedabad. Earlier, Shane Watson (2014) and Praveen Tambe (2014) have also taken hat-tricks in Ahmedabad. Both achieved this feat while playing for Rajasthan. Yuvraj has taken the most number of hat-tricks (3 times) in IPL.
