Latest news suggests that the major cities of China like Shenzhen and Beijing will no longer be requiring any sort of public transport commuter to showcase negative test results as that of authorities now has made the situation at ease after several waves of mass protests.
China had a no-covid policy which was strict. Because of which the residents of China had difficulty in performing their routine activities. As the COVID-19 restrictions are now put at ease a lot of major cities are now abolishing this requirement of negative COVID test report so that the locals now would be allowed to take the public transports.
The authorities of the government of China in southern Shenzhen has reported on Saturday that the commuters would no longer be needing the show the negative test results to use public transport or whenever they would be entering public places like pharmacies, parks, and the tourist attraction places.
This decision was later followed by the other southern city of Chengdu and then later on by the northern metropolitan city of Tianjin.

After these announcements, even the Beijing authorities suggested that there would no longer be a need for the negative test reports starting from Monday that is from tomorrow. Although, a negative test result is still required which was obtained within the past 48 hours to enter venues such as malls, shopping areas and many restaurants and eateries and outlets as they are now gradually opening and it offers takeout.
A video is now trending over social media which shows the workers in Beijing are now removing the testing booths by crane and this video is widely shared on Chinese social media platforms. One of the commentators even claimed that this should have done earlier by the government and some said that the testing booth is now banished to history.
