Bollywood’s famous actor, director, script writer and comedian Satish Kaushik has passed away at the age of 66.
It was revealed in the postmortem that he died of a Heart attack. He was not addicted to any kind of caffeine or alcohol. Recently, he was present at the Holi party given by Shabana Hazmin on March 7. Satish also posed for photos with Javed Akhtar, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha.
Biography of Satish Kaushik
Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956 in Haryana. His father came to Delhi from Haryana for a job, so his education was also done in Delhi.
He has one brother and one sister. He has been fond of acting since his childhood. But his family did not like it. He also endured beatings from his elder brother to enter the film industry.
Thus, he loved to watch Mehmud Sahib’s films since his childhood. And he was a big fan. Satish sir decided to go into acting after watching his film. He loved his acting and wanted him to become a comedian.
Satish got married to Shashi Kaushik in 1985. And he had a boy who died due to illness. At that time Satish’s career was at its peak. At that time Satish was so busy with his work that he could not even express his grief.
After the death of his son, his wife went into depression. So she could not become a mother again. But after some time she became pregnant with IVF and gave birth to a daughter. Which was named Vanshika.
About his struggle in life
He had to struggle to work in the film line. He took admission in NSD against his family. He used to work in those plays too. And then he came to Mumbai to try his luck.
There his brother hired him in a small job. And also used to do dramas. His first film Masum was released in 1963. But he got fame from Mr India. After that he started getting work.
After that, in Sajan Chale sasural did his best acting. He also did a good job in Ramlakhan. After this, he started getting work in direction as well.
Boney Kapoor gave him the job for the first time in 1993. He directed the first film Roop Ki Rani Choro Ka Raja. But due to one failure after another, he thought of committing suicide. But started working again and gave him hits like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Tere Naam.
Apart from that, he worked in the great Indian family drama on TV. And also did shows like Sumit Shmbal Legs and May I Come In. He has produced films like Bum Bum Bole, Dharna jaroori Hai and Kyu Ki.
His famous character
Calendar in the famous character Mr India which made him famous. Bademiya Chotemiya became known as Sharafat Ali. The role of Kanchi in Ram Lakhan also became famous. Apart from this, he became famous as Bobby Chacha in the TV show May I Come In.
