Bella Thorne will not allow anyone, past or present, humiliating her.
Thorne remembered an encounter she had during an audition when she was 10 years old during an interview on the “High Low with EmRata” podcast on Tuesday.
Her then-agent informed her mother that Thorne would not be moving further in the casting process because “the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him incredibly uncomfortable,” she told presenter Emily Ratajkowski.
While the “Game of Love” actress did not identify the director, she did say the occurrence drives her “mad.”

“I still come back to this every day,” said Thorne, 25. “I’m trying to find fault with myself. ‘What did you do, Bella?’ they ask. What did you do to make him feel this way?”
However, considering her age at the time, Thorne is now disputing the director’s allegation.
“I don’t care what…
“I said about the audition,” Thorne said. “I was ten years old. Why would you ever believe that?”
“Also, you’re in a director session, so you can’t really talk or do anything,” she continued. You act out the situation, say hi, and walk away. There is no time to sit on your lap or make you feel uneasy.”\
Thorne has already spoken out about her experiences with slut-shaming as a young woman in the limelight.
Bella Thorne reacts to the arrest of a suspected hacker who threatened to release naked images of her.
“I am a woman, and that certainly plays a role. If I post in a bikini, the response is ‘She’s a slut,’ but if a male posts shirtless on a beach, the response is ‘(expletive) yeah, dude’…” Thorne revealed this to the Daily Beast in March.
She went on to say that although male celebrities are complimented for being seen with women, “”If I’m in a three-year relationship, then split up, and then go into another three-year relationship, it’s ‘Wow, Bella Thorne, she’s a different lady every other day” (whore). Take a look at her.'”
