World Wildlife Day is celebrated on March 3.
This day is celebrated to save forests and vegetation in the world. The purpose of celebrating this day is to save endangered wildlife and flora among people. It was decided by the United Nation from 20 December 2013. It was celebrated for the first time on March 3, 2014.
The theme of world wildlife day is “Partnership for Wildlife Conservation“. On this day in 1973, several countries signed the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

(CITES) was established to explain the possibilities of life on earth and the importance of animals and trees living in the environment. Every year 03 March is observed with the aim of spreading awareness for the protection of wild animals and their species and trees from extinction.
Importance of wildlife
Along with development, their importance should also be understood. The effect of increasing growth of humans is seen on animals.
More people use more water, so there is not enough drinking water for the animals in the forest and they move to the urban areas. To build houses for people to live in and live modern life, forests are being cut down today.
Then there are some plants in it which have become extinct. Also, deforestation has made it difficult for wild animals to survive.
One of the aims of celebrations is to prevent animal trafficking and create awareness among people. Today, people do pollution so much that the organisms and plants living in the water are getting affected a lot.
Today, the bad water of the industry is found and the oxygen is not enough for the organisms in the sea and it has reached the verge of destruction. People are making millions by selling the organs of wild animals which is a crime.
