Supreme court’s lawyer files a complaint against the SRK – The King Khan and Queen of Bollywood aka Deepika Padukone.
The film has been in a controversy since the song “Besharam Rang” released, the song has grabbed the headlines and witnessed the vibrative response on the clothes of Deepika Padukone. Vineet Jindal-the supreme court lawyer has filed a complaint with the Information & Broadcasting Ministry against the lead actors of Pathan for ‘Objectional Video’.
The complaint has been filed in order to ban the release of the most awaited film Pathan till the “correctness of objection song”. According to the critics the song is ping vulgar and obscene and gone against the Hindu religion, as Deepika worn saffron bikini and sarong with SRK while performing the song called Besharam Rang(Unashamed Color).
This cooler selection has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu with salacious dance and presenting the song in an offensive manner.
The complaint was addressed to the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur, and stated that Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan should face criminal penalties for their “deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of the Hindu community through vulgar visual and verbal representation via the video song, which has been widely shared on social media and other public platforms.” A ban and quick removal of the film from the internet are also demanded due to the movie’s disparaging portrayal of Hinduism and the hurt and anger it would create among them.
Vinod Bansal, the national spokesman for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), requested earlier this week that the film be boycotted and outlawed. He criticised Deepika Padukone’s “Besharam Rang” outfits.
Ayodhya’s Hanuman Garhi Raju Das’ mahant appealed for individuals to set fire to the cinema theatres in another incident. Additionally, he claimed that this had offended religious sensitivities. This comes after Maharashtra BJP MLA Ram Kadam remarked that the film that insults Hindutva will not be permitted and Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra expressed concerns about offensive costumes in “Besharam Rang.”
Shah Rukh Khan spoke on the hatred bandwagon at the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival opening a day ago. The actor declared, “Social media shapes the communal narrative of our times. Contrary to popular assumption, I think film now has an even more crucial role to perform than it had before the advent of social media.
“Social media is frequently led by a particular narrowness of perspective that confines human nature to its baser self,” SRK said. I’ve read that negativity raises social media usage and, hence, social media’s market worth. Such endeavours confine the communal narrative, making it polarising and damaging.
“We haven’t really been able to speak in a long, but the world is returning to normal now,” he continued. We are all joyful and I am the nicest. And I have no qualms in expressing that no matter what happens in the world, myself, you, and all positive individuals are still alive.”
Pathaan is part of Aditya Chopra’s grandiose espionage world, and it stars the country’s top talents, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
