Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Ram Lalla’s divine jewellery
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra discloses the jewelry that Ram Lalla was wearing. Since Ram Lalla is portrayed as a five-year-old kid, typical silver toys—an elephant, a horse, a camel, a toy cart, and a spinning top—are arranged in front of the idol. As he graces his opulent residence, Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla exudes an image of spirituality and tradition through his exquisite decorations and apparel.
The depictions of Shri Ram’s scripturally fitting splendour in scriptures like the Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, and Alavandar Stotra served as the foundation for the fabrication of these holy jewels. Shri Ram Lalla Virajman is dressed in Banarasi cloth, with a red pataka/angavastram and a yellow dhoti. Using threads and pure gold zari, these angavastrams are adorned with the auspicious Vaishnav symbols of Shankh, Padma, Chakra, and Mayur. Shri Manish Tripathi, an Ayodhya Dham-based textile designer in Delhi, was the creator of these outfits.
