From Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to Shubman Gill, only 13 players have won the Orange Cap title at the end of season. Currently after the recent match between RCB vs KKR, Virat Kohli tops the list of most run-maker in the ongoing tournament, on Friday.
Additionally, Virat Kohli regained his top position on the Orange Cap list after his half- century, scored 83 against the KKR on Friday. Surpassing Heinrich Klaasen of SRH, who recorded his second half-century in the previous match and currently has 181 runs to his name in three innings.

Virat scored 83 runs against KKR, scoring 181 runs in 3 matches, in total with an average of 90.50. Second is Heinrich Klaasen from SRH with 143 runs, followed by RR player, Riyan Parag at third position with 127 runs. Sanju Samson from RR holds fourth position with 97 runs. Abhishek Sharma ranked fifth with 95 runs after facing MI.

Finally, every batsman in IPL tries to score his best runs to claim the title of orange cap. Here are the rules of IPL 2024 to claim orange cap:
- A batsman who holds the Orange Cap during the season can wear it while playing the games, as long as he is on the top spot in the season.
- The batsman with a better strike rate is awarded the Orange Cap, when two or more batsmen are tied on runs.
- In an event where an opposition batsman overtakes the tally of the current holder of the Orange Cap, the previous holder is allowed to wear the Cap until the end of that particular innings in which another batsman overtakes him.
