Australian actor and film producer, Margot Robbie along with her English film producer husband, Tom Ackerley, is in Australia, the actress’s homeland. The 33-year-old Aussie has an itinerary for her trip to her native country.
Born and raised in Dalby, Queensland, Robbie owns a gin brand Papa Salt, and is seen hosting a private event for the same at the celeb-favorite Indigo Oscar restaurant at Cottesloe Beach, Perth. Margot Robbie is seen getting selfies clicked by her local fans as she leaves the restaurant and heads towards a black car.

The Barbie star is dressed in an all-white outfit, accompanied by her English husband as well as a group of friends. This surprise outing comes after Robbie was the toast to another Papa Salt event in Brisbane on Sunday, having the first round of drinks on the bar for patrons at Mr Percival’s, a trendy eatery. Fans thanked the star for giving them free drinks by posting photos and videos on social media.
The three-time Oscar Award nominee and one of the world’s highest-paid actresses as said by Forbes in 2019, was busy promoting her Byron Bay-made gin label, after its launch earlier this year alongside her husband Ackerley, and their friends Josey McNamara, Regan Riskas and Charlie Maas.
First landed in Brisbane last Wednesday with Tom, the couple then headed to Robbie’s home city, Gold Coast where all her family members reside, including Margot’s mother Saire Kessler, whom Robbie visits as often as she can. Photos of the actress having lunch in Main Beach on Thursday afternoon were making rounds on social media platforms.
After her big release and blockbuster success of Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie, a movie that made over $1 billion at the global box office, Margot Robbie was away from public outings for a while. In late September, Tom and Robbie were seen enjoying a holiday trip in Greece’s Sifnos Island.

One hilarious incident on the trip happened when the leading lady of the film Barbie could not recall the Australian slang for the word Barbie. Margot along with the Barbie film director appeared on the show The Project, when the show’s co-host Sam Taunton told Gret Gerwig that Aussies had a different meaning to the word “barbie”. To this Robbie fails to recall and asks, “What does it mean here?”. Sam replies back with a “Like a barbecue”, leaving the Aussie actress embarrassed and the audience on the show laughing with surprise.
The opinion-dividing shoes were flaunted by Margot on Melbourne Cup day. Swapping her chic Barbie style for a more relaxed, sunny Perth look, the Hollywood actress stepped out in a pair of bright yellow Crocs with a black crop top, black flared pants, and a Prada handbag.
Robbie’s upcoming projects include a still=to=be-titled Ocean’s 11 film, which she will produce and star in. This project will reunite her with her Barbie co-star Ryan Gosling on the big screen.
