The last year’s world champion France again made it to the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar after defeating England with a 2-1 score. France the winner of the last World FIFA Cup was fighting against England for a place in the semi-final and successfully got their place in the semifinal in FIFA World Cup 2022 again.
This was the fourth quarter-final match of the FIFA World Cup 2022. the venue of the match was Al Bayt Stadium Qatar where the first goal of the match was scored by A. Tchouaméni in the 17th minute at the beginning of the match team France got a lead and the upper hand in the match after this goal but in the second half team England got a penalty due to foul play done by a France player and Harry Kane turned that penalty into a goal thus the score of the match was equal till 78th minute but the top scorer of team France O. Giroud scored a goal for his team and beak the equaliser.
After that, the match seems so easy for France to win but then again a foul play is done by a France player and team England got a penalty but this time the man Harry Kane was not able to turn that penalty into a goal.
After that England got many close chances to score a goal but unfortunately they failed to score thus they lost their quarter-final match and also lost their opportunity to win this World Cup.
Team France successfully dominated this World Cup too as they did in the last World Cup now they have only 2 matches to win to take another world trophy at their home. The semi-match of France is against Morocco which will be played at Al Bayt Stadium Qatar on 15 December at 12:30 am.
