The Ryder Cup 2023 match will start from 29 September to 1 October 2023. The venue of the 2023 Ryder Cup is Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Italy. The captains are Luke Donald of Europe and Zach Johnson of the USA. This is the 44th Ryder Cup match. In 2021 USA is the holder of the Ryder Cup match by 19-9 victory.

For the 44th edition of Ryder Cup, the bidding process was opened on 23 June 2014. Countries had to express their interest by 31 August. The vice-captains of the European team are Thomas Bjorn, Edoardo Molinari, Nicolas Colsaerts, Jose Maria Olazabal and Francesco Molinari.
US vice captains are Steve Stricker, Davis Love, Jim Furyk, Fred Couples, and Stewart Cink.
The 2023 Cup will be broadcast in the US by USA Network, NBC and on NBC streaming site Peacock. In the UK and Ireland, It will be on Sky Sports with coverage on BBC radio.

Because of extension to 3 days and change to 18 hold matches it is difficult to combine the roles of captain and players.
SELECTION PROCESS OF TEAM:
The selection process is varies for Ryder Cup. In the beginning the teams were decides by a selection committee but after the qualification was based on performance. Now, the system is team is determined by performance Selected by captain. From 2014 there were 9 players in both teams and 3 players are selected by captain based on performance. After the PGA championship qualifying period ended. From 2016 there is change in American system now captain has to select 4 members instead of 3 members.
